Taipei Vlog – Week 3 & 4

Having the best time in Taiwan, learning lots at work & visiting some really cool places. In my latest vlog for weeks 3 & 4 of my 8 week Marketing Internship in Taiwan I go to a Taiwan wedding which was so beautiful, eat some yummy food at the Shilin Night Market (defo gonna start eating frozen strawberries from now on, was soo refreshing), have dinner in Taipei 101 and treck up Elephant Mountain (not the easiest thing in 36 degree heat and crazy humidity). My First Festival Experience

Okay, so I just had one of the most amazing weekends ever! Lost my festival & Big Mac virginities (yes I did say Big Mac, as in the burger from McDonalds, and I have to say it was pretty average – basically just two of the 89p hamburgers stacked on top of each other). Anyways… I had wanted to go to a festival for soo long but had always been either too broke to or my friends had been. I was extremely lucky/thankful this year as my friend managed to get us tickets to the Isle of Wight Festival as her Mom knows the guy who runs it and he even upgraded us with VIP which we weren’t expecting!

The Perfect Cosy Night In

Ahh who doesn’t love a cosy night in? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a night out – having one too many vodka & cokes, dancing the night away and struggling to remember everything in the morning. But, I think a chilled night in trumps all. Continue reading “The Perfect Cosy Night In”

How to Budget as a Student

‘MAKE SURE YOU BUDGET YOUR MONEY WISELY!’ – what everyone’s parents, aunts, uncles, nan & everyone in between tells then when they head off to Uni. But if you either: haven’t had a significant income before or had money but never needed to worry about making it last or how to spend it wisely then the chances are you won’t be entirely sure on how to budget your money effectively. You’ve come to the right place for great budgeting advice for students as I am going to share with you the ultimate (in my opinion) student budgeting app as well as talk you through my student budget guide – aren’t you lucky.

How To Use Instagram More Intentionally

Scroll. Scroll. Scroll. We all get sucked into the black hole of social media: mindlessly scrolling and switching between the various apps, only to realise you were literally on this one 5 mins ago and there’s nothing new to see. And more often than not you may find yourself feeling a bit crappy afterwards, comparing yourself to instamodels and feeling as though your life is bland compared to the highlights shared by those you follow.
